Valorant is a free-to-play multiplayer video game designed and published by Riot Games on June 2, 2020. In Valorant, each player has an agent with unique abilities. In the main game mode, two teams of five players compete and purchase utilities and weapons for their agents through a marketplace. One team is on offense and one is on defense: the attacking team has a spike that must be placed on a site. If it is protected enough and explodes, the attackers score a point. However, if the defending team manages to defuse the spike or if the time is up, they get a point. Eliminating all members of the opposing team also leads to a win for the round. The first team to score 13 points wins the game.
